Stefanie Grau is a german freelance art director, set designer, interior architect, furniture designer, currently living in Berlin.

After her graduation in interior architecture and stage design she assisted stage design at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and Burgtheater Vienna (Johannes Schütz, Karl- Ernst Herrmann, Barbara Ehnes [...] ).

Since 2011 she is working as a freelance stage designer for theatres like Volkstheater Munich, State Theater Oldenburg, Schauspiel Essen, Schauspielhaus Zurich and Burg Theatre Vienna.

In addition to her stages for theatre she creates concepts and interactive sets and installations for fashion movies, advertising campaigns and editorials.

Next to her sets she designs furniture. Therefore she founded the artist group greycollective_.

Her various kind of fields mutually influence one and another and are affected by different kind of media like visual arts, installations, performance and architecture.
